The scope of an Attribute controls the persistence mechanisms used and the operations that can efficiently be used with the attribute.

    • DETAIL

      public static final Scope DETAIL
      Only allowed in single task detail context.
    • LIST

      public static final Scope LIST
      Optimized for use in list context, allowed in detail context.
    • FILTER

      public static final Scope FILTER
      Optimized for use with filters and searches, allowed in list and detail context.
    • VOLATILE

      public static final Scope VOLATILE
      Not persisted. Used for data passing between activities (such as dialogs).
    • SETTING

      public static final Scope SETTING
      Not for use with individual tasks, but rather persisted as a global setting per user.
